Course Structure:

CMA USA is divided into two parts:

  There are 100 objective questions and two essay questions in each section. The CMA USA exam is administered three times a year, from January to February, May to June, and September to October, with an international pass rate of 50% and around 400 CMAs awarded each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have finished a three-year bachelor's degree (e.g., B. Com, BBA) within seven years after passing the CMA USA course in order to sit for the CMA USA exam.

Course Duration:

Completing all of the exams and training sessions for the CMA USA course takes about 1 to 1.5 years on average.

Course Fee: For students:

• IMA Membership Fee (for students = 3 years): $117
• CMA Certification Entrance Fee: $188
• CMA Exam fees (Part 1 & Part 2): $622 Total IMA fees: $927 (Approximately Rs 70,000)

For professionals:

• IMA Membership Fee (for professionals = 1 year): $245
• CMA Certification Entrance Fee: $250
• CMA Exam fees (Part 1 & Part 2): $830 Total IMA fees: $1325 (Approximately Rs 100,000)

Passing Criteria and Exam Pattern:

Each section of the CMA USA exam has a passing score of 360 out of 500. There are 75% objective questions and 25% essay questions on the exam. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and computer-based examinations (CBEs) are used in all papers. Exams are available during three testing windows: January-February, May-June, and September-October (6 months per year).
